Greetings! My pen name is Mars Downpour and my pronouns are He/They. I was born in 1998 and have been role playing since roughly 2011. Role playing is by far my favourite hobby and I greatly enjoy discussing original characters with other writers.

╰┈➤ This account is semi-active at all times. Any interactions with original characters will receive replies faster than canon characters due to always having a higher muse for my original characters.
╰┈➤ I do not appreciate being rushed to reply on anything. This goes for ooc interactions as well. I’m pretty introverted and most of the time am drained from interacting with people in real life so be patient with me.
╰┈➤ Please don’t feel pressured to reply to me quickly in any capacity or match the length of my role play replies. I want you to only do as much as you feel comfortable doing. That being said—
╰┈➤ I’m a literate/advanced lit role player. I do not accept script/non-literate role players or one line replies for an entire thread. I find it acceptable to drop down to one liners on occasion if the scene calls for it but I don’t want it to remain that way the entire time. Single paragraph replies are perfectly acceptable.
╰┈➤ I accept spam likes/hearts on my own role play replies. However, be mindful that my roleplay partner for that thread might not feel the same way.

╰┈➤ This is a multiship account. Our characters are not exclusive to each other, nor will they ever be.
╰┈➤ The vast majority of my muses are bisexual. However, I do not write explicit smut for heterosexual or lesbian pairings. Our characters can have sex, I just won’t go into detail in my replies. This is nonnegotiable.
╰┈➤ My goal is to portray canon characters just as they are depicted in their respective media. So if a character displays deeply toxic traits I will include that in my writing. My prime examples are Billy Hargrove from Stranger Things and Coriolanus Snow from TBOSAS. If you know, you know.
╰┈➤ I prefer to write drama, angst, and psychological horror. I desire a character’s state of mind to be vividly articulated in a reply rather than it being action focused. Internal monologues are greatly encouraged. If that doesn’t match your writing style I also find discussion on your muse out of character to be an acceptable supplement.

Dorian is an extremely ambitious person who constantly strives to be the most powerful man in the room. He is controlling of those around him and never takes no for an answer. He can be exceedingly cruel and sadistic to those who don’t meet his high standards.He displays strong symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and occasionally suffers from panic attacks brought on by poor stress management.Despite not being a Pride demon, Dorian is heavily focussed on his self image and is quick to become insecure when around others that challenge his status. This manifests into anger and he often lashes out at those around him when he doesn’t feel like he’s the centre of attention anymore.

{ 𝑯𝑼𝑴𝑨𝑵 𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬 }

Dorian was born during the Middle Ages in what is modern day France. He was born with the name Acelet, meaning noble at birth. He was raised by his mother in a village that was almost constantly struggling to make ends meet, often barely surviving the harsher winters.By the time Dorian was an adult, he was fed up with his way of life and decided to seek out his biological father, his father being the ruler of a wealthy neighbouring kingdom.Dorian had sought him out in an attempt at not only requesting much needed assistance for his home village, but also to gain power and status for himself. However, since Dorian was born a bastard, his father refused to help him or his village and decided to murder him in cold blood in an effort to keep Dorian’s existence a secret.

{ 𝑫𝑬𝑴𝑶𝑵 𝑳𝑶𝑹𝑬 & 𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑳𝒀 𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬 }

In Hell, the process of creating a demon was a very time consuming and arduous process that involved ripping apart the human soul. Over the course of several years, the soul would then be reshaped into a more elastic and durable version of the spirit through prolonged torture. This process could only be successfully done by especially skilled demons referred to as Makers. Often, there would be too many souls coming into Hell so the Makers would have to create multiple demons at the same time. Demons created in groups were called nests or families, each of them typically being very close to each other and having similar traits.During the process of transformation, demons would present as having what are referred to as core sins. The amount of core sins a demon had drastically affected their social status. Demons that presented with less sins were considered high class individuals, the demons of only one sin being treated like royalty or even gods.Dorian was created with another demon that was very similar to himself. Their Maker had named the other demon Walter. They both presented as having Wrath as their strongest core sin. Along with Wrath, Dorian had also developed Greed, while Walter on the other hand presented with Pride instead.Being a group of merely two newborn demons, they were named a family. Towards the end of their transformation, Walter had manipulated Dorian into trusting him, convincing him to assist in the murder of their Maker. After they succeeded, Walter turned on Dorian and attempted to murder him as well due to him perceiving Dorian as a threat to his social status. Luckily, Dorian slipped away and had gone into hiding in the human realm. [ see next photo for more on Walter ]At some point during the transformation process, Dorian had lost all memory of his human life. This occurrence was somewhat rare and often had very dangerous side effects for the afflicted demon. Lacking the memory of his humanity, Dorian became especially vicious during the adolescent years of his demonhood.After roaming the earth for nearly a hundred years, Dorian had gradually found himself entangled with an older demon. The demon was one of pure Wrath, an especially rare breed of demon that later became outlawed from creation. This was due to the fact that they were often next to impossible to control and had extremely detrimental effects on humanity over the course of history. Wrath demons were known for causing carnage anywhere they went, some even going as far as creating wars that lasted hundreds of years.The older demon provided Dorian with some much needed protection from his brother. Dorian soon grew fond of the Wrath demon and ended up becoming bonded to him for life.

{ 𝑹𝑬𝑵𝑨𝑰𝑺𝑺𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑬 𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑶𝑫 }

As Dorian grew out of his wild adolescent stage, he quickly found work as a tradesmen. Being half a Greed demon, Dorian had collected many objects of value over the course of his life and used his existing assets to rapidly accumulate more riches. Eventually, he grew bored of simply hoarding wealth and moved on to organizing a network similar to the black market that was mainly geared towards creatures with magical abilities.There the demon not only gained higher status for creating such a successful business but also began learning sorcery. Dorian became obsessed with learning as much as he possibly could about magic. At the same time he was expanding his knowledge on various subjects: other supernatural beings, language, philosophy, psychology, medicine, and art, amongst other things. This trend of success and further education continued well into the future.

{ 𝑴𝑰𝑺𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑼𝑵𝑬 }

During the early 18th century, Dorian’s renaissance period came to an abrupt end when his husband was tragically killed in battle. This drastically destabilized Dorian’s mental health, sending him into a downward spiral. Without his husband for protection, he felt like he was in near constant danger and had a hard time managing his now vast business.Things went from bad to worse when Dorian’s brother reared his ugly head again. His brother had obtained a high status position in Hell’s government and used that status to ruin Dorian’s name. It was a slow process but Walter managed to slowly dismantle Dorian’s life work brick by brick.Eventually, Dorian was forced to go back into hiding. This did nothing to help his deteriorating mental health as he became increasingly depressed the longer he was kept from the outside world. All semblance of structure in his life had dissolved and he was left alone with only his spell books and his own mind to keep him company.With nothing else to focus on, Dorian’s mind kept going through a vicious cycle of over analyzing all of his past mistakes, trying to make sense of where exactly he had gone wrong. He mainly obsessed over his brother, what he was capable of, and how he might be able to “return the favour” someday. This continued for years before Dorian deemed it safe enough for him to venture back into the outside world.

{ 𝑹𝑬𝑪𝑶𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀 }

Being cautious, Dorian rejoined the outside world gradually and mainly kept himself occupied with strictly human affairs. After he slowly gained back his confidence he began to branch out, getting back into the trading business.As he gained more stability in his life, Dorian turned his attention back to his other academic pursuits. By this point, Dorian was an exceptional sorcerer, but he was still determined to keep pushing himself to do better.Near the end of the 18th century, Dorian once again was growing bored with the consistency of how he spent his time and decided to make a change. In his studies of supernatural beings, Dorian became particularly interested in vampires and wanted to obtain one as a companion or pet of sorts. This was how he came to own a young man named Daniel McManis. [ see previous photo for more on Daniel ]Dorian spent several years conditioning his new pet into a more tolerable temperament, the task proving to be somewhat difficult due to the fact that newborn vampires were almost as unruly as newborn demons. Eventually, he perfected the art of taming the vampire and life began to settle back into its usual pattern.Nevertheless, Dorian felt as though there was something still missing in his life. That was when he came up with the idea of becoming a demon Maker. Feeling motivated by the fact that he successfully tamed a newborn vampire, he traveled to Hell in search of training in the art of demon creation. Unfortunately, he failed the test the Demon Regulation Division (D.R.D.) had given him, making him blacklisted from ever being able to apply for the position again.This enraged Dorian and he quickly went about trying to obtain the knowledge through alternative means. That's when he met a Maker by the name of Lorarii Verro. After gaining Verro’s trust, he manipulated the man into teaching him the art of demon creation illegally. It was extremely difficult for Dorian to learn and after hundreds of lessons and even more attempts on his own, he finally succeeded in his goal. [ see 8th photo for more on Verro ]In the year of 1971, Dorian produced a demon he named Grace. Her core sins presented as Lust and Sloth. Dorian wasn’t pleased with the outcome but he was so proud of his accomplishment he decided to let her survive, her becoming his daughter. [ see 5th photo for more on Grace ]Still, Dorian wasn’t satisfied. If he was going to have another child, he wanted them to be purely perfection.In the year of 1981, Dorian violated one of the most crucial laws in Hell. He had succeeded in creating a demon of pure Wrath. He named his new son Gael, both of his children taking his last name. It was only then did Dorian begin to feel complete again. He overflowed with love and pride for his son even though he was slowly becoming more and more afraid of his own creation. His son, even as a newborn demon, was already physically stronger than him. Not to mention the fact that his son seemed to have something wrong with him mentally. [ see 6th photo for more on Gael ]After taking Gael to an underground demon specialist, Dorian found out his son had Asperger Syndrome. Initially, Dorian was devastated by the news but later learned to see the situation in a more positive light. In his mind, it was a good thing that Gael would be needing assistance with certain things because that meant he could never leave Dorian.Plus, Gael seemed to get along well with Grace due to her not having Wrath anywhere in her core sins. This was crucial to Gael’s care since whenever he would have an episode, the Wrath that would radiate off the boy would cause Dorian and any other Wrath demons within a few mile radius to nearly black out from how intense it was.Eventually, Dorian figured out a system that more or less worked with keeping his son as calm as possible at all times. And after years of coaching, Gael eventually became much better at controlling himself and even went as far as assisting Dorian with his various business affairs.Despite all the setbacks and challenges Dorian had faced in his hundreds of years on Earth, he was finally living the life he had always wanted.—•—•—•—•—•—[ There’s actually more plot but this is already way too fucking long so I’m cutting it here for now. These abilities come so easily to Santo that he can sometimes have a difficult time controlling them when experiencing deeply negative emotions himself. With a great deal of concentration and training he can also achieve the ability to remove all emotion from another being for a very short period of time.𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 : The psychic ability to induce mental hallucinations that cause targets to sense and experience phenomena that are not actually present. Due to Santo being specialized in negative emotions, his dream manipulation is limited to inducing nightmares. This power grants Santo the ability to taste, feel, smell, see, or hear from his target’s senses. When using this ability, Santo’s physical body is left completely limp and vulnerable to attack. Another visible tell of his ability being in use is the colour of his eyes appearing faded, similar to a corpse. If someone attempts to forcefully awaken Santo from his trance before he is ready it can alert his target to the intrusion. If the target experiences a great deal of physical pain or death while Santo still is sharing their sensory experience this can leave him with serious psychological damage.𝗣𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗖 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 : The ability to inhabit or take over the body of other beings by stealing their motor functions and senses. This ability is extremely difficult for Santo to achieve regardless of preparation. Similar to sensory scrying, when Santo is using this ability his consciousness leaves his body and gains the sensory experience of the host. His physical body’s eyes are visibly faded in color along with the pupils of the person he is currently possessing. If the host is experiencing a great deal of physical distress the mental connection with the host will likely be lost. David is cunning with a special talent for knowing what strings to pull and when. He is very confident in his convictions and extremely ambitious. James Belladonna Jr. and Pamela Whitney had two children; James Belladonna III, who was born in 1968 and David who was born three years and ten months later. Soon after graduation, David finds work as an Auror in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. He uses this status to finally execute his master plan to ‘clean up’ the Belladonna name. He does this by imprisoning his parents and brother in Azkaban for being Death Eaters. He provided years worth of incriminating evidence so they were easily sentenced guilty while on trial. This becomes problematic for David when everyone begins to suspect him of being a Death Eater as well. He nearly loses his job at the Ministry of Magic after the trial. However, he is soon proven innocent of being a Death Eater and quickly becomes one of the most skilled Aurors. Later, he becomes a hit wizard as the demand for them increases due to Voldemort’s looming return
